Words to Live By: Christmas

Christmas can be a stressful or sad time for many of us.  Stressful because life is stressful enough, and then you add in any special event, and that puts pressure on you.  Sad because of the memory of those you no longer get to spend it with.  There are so many emotions, parties, things to plan, gifts, that take our minds off of what Christmas is really about.
The only gift we need to give, or receive this Christmas is the one God already gave us. The gift of His son Jesus.  We have been blessed beyond measure, and are loved more than we could possibly fathom.
Christmas is Jesus’ birthday, so instead of focusing on what we will get, try focusing on being grateful for all God has given you.  All of His blessings.  And if you don’t feel very blessed this Christmas, have faith that this is a season of growth, and a flood gate of blessings will open when you make it through the valley to the other side.
“After all there’s only one more sleep ’til Christmas.”

I love how white really makes Christmas decorations look clean and chic! A great alternative to green and red. I would even want to dress it up with some gold sparkles…
