DIY: Monster Poppers!

We thought it’d be fun to add a spooky Halloween twist to the classic party popper… it’s a really cute and simple DIY, that you can do with sticky dots instead of hot glue, so it’s kid friendly, and fun for the whole family!!

What you will need:
– Party Poppers
– Crate Paper in any color (we used party streamers)
– Zots Dots Small sticky dots (we got ours from Paper Source, pack of 300 for $4.95)
– White construction paper
– Googly Eyes
– Scissors

How To:

Step 1: Gently pull the popper string out of tape (do not pull hard or you’ll pop your popper).
Step 2: Cut a thin piece of crate paper the size of the neck of your popper.
Step 3: Use two small sticky dots to attach one end to the back of your popper neck, and wrap it around as many times as you want. Then take two more sticky dots to secure the end.
Step 4: With white construction paper, cut out a row of scary teeth that is long enough to wrap all the way around the base of your popper.
Step 5: *Note: Make sure all of your seams line up in the back, so line up where you start the teeth, under where the seam on the neck of the popper ended.
Step 6: Cut another piece of crate paper just over the height of the popper bottle, and long enough to wrap until you can’t see through it…so the lighter the paper color, the longer it will need to be.  Use more sticky dots the way you did in step 3.
Step 7, 8: Sticky dot wiggle eyes wherever you want them, and your monster is ready to pop!!!
Have Fun!!

Love the additions of the decorations! I made a burlap wreath last year but it is pretty plain. This would be a great way to make it look even better for fall! Super cute DIY!!
