Life’s A Beach

Happy Labor day weekend everyone!! I hope you have wonderful plans, full of fun, friends, and sunshine!  Since it’s “technically” my last chance to wear white shoes…I thought I would! (Of course that’s never stopped me before.)

And what better place to wear them, than Coney Island! One of our good friends recommended going to a Brooklyn Cyclones game, (the New York Mets farm team) on Coney Island, while we were in New York.  Having never been to Coney Island, or a Cyclones game, this seemed like the perfect weekend outing..and it was.

Coney Island was packed, and beautiful! Bright colors, happy, sun-soaked tourists, and a giant fair ground! Who could ask for anything more?

I have been a fan of the brand, 360 Sweater for a long time now, but the price tag was a bit out of my sweater budget…then I stumbled upon a sample sale in Chelsea Market, and am convinced that Chelsea is my new favorite place ever.

Sweater: 360 Sweater // Jeans: Articles of Society // Shoes: Keds // Sunglasses: Fossil // “Camera Bag” Actually a purse I use as my camera bag: Madewell (old, and I got it on sale, but anything from Madewell is adorable!)
The Cyclones‘ season ends this weekend, but anyone visiting (or living in) New York should go! It is so much fun, and the park over looks all of Coney Island fair grounds, and the ocean.  Plus, it has the cheapest ballpark hotdog you will ever find!
“Life’s a beach” soak in the sun, run in the waves, and watch the sunset.
