DIY: Double French Twist with Style Made Simple

Hi Guys! I know it’s been a while since we’ve done a hair tutorial, so here’s a good one!  It’s Summer and that means it’s hot!  I have short hair, so there’s not a lot I can do with it besides just put it up in a boring pony tail.  I found this hair style from a fashion week picture and decided to give it a try.  It’s simple and works on almost any length hair.  It’s a great alternative the pony tail and gets my hair up off of my neck!
We partnered with the amazing people at Kroger to find just the right products to take this look to the next level.

I washed my hair with Suave Moroccan Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner.  Then I used Tresemme’s Get Sleek heat protection spray to make sure to get a sleek and smooth look.
Step 1:
Separate your hair into two sections.  Take the first section and gather it up like you are going to put it into a high pony tail, then twist it tight, and work your way down, twisting from the top until it is in a French twist.
Use bobbipins to secure the twist…
and a thin elastic to hold it at the bottom.
Step 2:
Do the same thing with the opposite side.
Step 3:
Use a wide bobbi pin to hold the two sides together.
I used two, but could have used three to keep it tight all the way down.
All done! Easy, and different! You could even start the twists higher up if you have longer hair, and can gather your pigtail that high without losing the little hairs at the nape of your neck.
