WHAT YOU NEED:
1pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix
1pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
1pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/4cup butter, softened
1pkg. (16 oz.) powdered sugar, sifted
24ring-shaped chewy fruit snacks
24miniature candy-coated chocolate pieces
1tube (19.28 g) red decorating gel
PREPARE cake batter as directed on package. Add dry pudding mix; mix well. Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups. Bake as directed on package for cupcakes; cool completely.
BEAT cream cheese, butter and vanilla in medium bowl with mixer until well blended. Gradually beat in sugar. Spread onto cupcakes.
DECORATE with remaining ingredients to resemble “eyeballs”.
*Icing tip: When you ice the cupcakes, keep a lot of frosting on your knife. When you only use a little at a time, the frosting/knife pulls on the cupcake causing it to break off. The full knife keeps the friction down, and your cupcake intact.
I used a chocolate chip to make the pupil.
WHAT YOU NEED:
2 googly eyes
Wrap your Jammer pouch with gauze. I did one full wrap to cover it from top to bottom, and then cut the strip in half to give it more of a Mummy look. *Make sure to leave an opening where a straw can get through.
Once my adorable Mummies were ready, I went on line and printed google eye clip art. I couldn’t find the size I wanted at the store, and this was a free and easy alternative that solved my problem!
I attached the eyes with glue dots, and sharpied on some fun mouths. *For the party, put a cup with the jammer straws in it next to your ghosts (you have to remove them to make your spooky sippers). Then your guests can find a hole in the gauze and jam away. Drink up!
Keep the fun going!
