In my house, New Year’s Day means game day, and game day means yummy snacks! We read through all of the mouth watering recipes on the Kraft “Make Every day Delicious” website, and knew bacon-wrapped chicken was the perfect New Year’s Day, game time snack! But there were so many good ones it was really hard to choose! Make sure you head to their website to see all the delicious recipes!
Prep Time: 30 min.| Total Time: 1 hr. | Makes: 24 servings (but don’t be surprised if they go fast!)
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3Tbsp. GREY POUPON Savory Honey Mustard, divided
- 2Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1large boneless skinless chicken breast (6 oz.), cut into 24 pieces
- 8slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into thirds
- 4oz. CRACKER BARREL Vermont Sharp-White Cheddar Cheese, cut into 24 slices
- 24RITZ Crackers
- 2tsp. chopped fresh parsley
Cut the chicken into 24 small pieces.
MIX 2 Tbsp. mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Add to chicken in shallow glass dish; toss to coat. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.
While chicken is marinating, cut the bacon into thirds; cut the cheese into 24 slices; and chop the parsley. (I love multitasking!)
Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
HEAT broiler, and wrap bacon around chicken; secure with toothpicks. Broil, 4 inches from heat, for 10 min. or until bacon is crisp and chicken is done, turning the skewers after 5 min.
*We can preheat your oven while you wait to 350°F.
Place Ritz crackers on baking sheet; top with one slice of cheese. Bake in oven for 4 to 5 min. or until melted.
Using your toothpicks as a handle and guide, place your bacon wrapped chicken on top of the melted cheese and then remove the toothpick. Sprinkle some parsley for color and flavor, and ENJOY!
